Suzy Woodard is in her 12th year as a campus administrator.
She joined McKinney ISD in 2002 when she opened Vega
Elementary. In 2004, she opened Minshew Elementary School
where she was principal before moving to Reuben Johnson
Elementary in 2007. Ms. Woodard began her career in
education as a 5th grade teacher in Bryan ISD. Prior to
joining MISD, she was the principal at King Elementary in
Little Elm for two years and was the principal at Little Elm
Middle School for four years.
Woodard received her Bachelor's Degree in Curriculum and
Instruction from Texas A&M University and holds a Master of
Education and Mid-Management Certification from the
University of North Texas. She and her husband live in
McKinney and their son is a junior at Texas A&M
