Pam Bendorf is in her first year as principal at Burks
Elementary School. Prior to coming to Burks, Bendorf was the
assistant principal at Earl Slaughter Elementary School in
the McKinney ISD for the past five years. She has more than
fifteen years of experience in the field of education. She
began her career in 1990 as a 5th grade teacher in the Anna
ISD before moving to the Allen ISD in 1998 where she was a
6th grade reading instructor and LMS/Instructional Designer.
She joined McKinney ISD in 2001 as the assistant principal
at Earl Slaughter Elementary School.
Bendorf received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the
University of North Texas in 1989 and earned her Master’s
Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Women’s
University in 2001. |
